In 1494, Fra Luca Bartolomeo de Pacioli published his book «Summa de arithmetica geometria proportioni et proportionalità», which included Tractatus de computis et scripturis. XI treatise of this book is especially important: it contains a description of double entry bookkeeping, which is the foundation of the economic activities of modern companies that is currently used.
